What you’re about to read on this blog is the third volume of the trilogy The Mysteries, A Novel of Ancient Eleusis. If you haven’t read the previous two volumes, you’ll encounter spoilers by the dozen here. Plus, you’ll be in the dark about events that have created the situation at the beginning of The Twice-Born. I’d recommend you read the first two volumes (click here) before digging into the material.
